The Soil01

Volcanic earth, four seasons of patience

Our moringa grows in mineral-rich volcanic loam at 1,200m elevation — naturally alkaline, free-draining, and charged with trace elements that conventional farmland cannot replicate. No synthetic fertiliser has touched this ground in eleven years.

The Seed02

PKM-1 variety, selected for leaf density

We propagate from PKM-1 cuttings — a high-yield, perennial variety with 40% greater leaf biomass per hectare than wild-type moringa. Trees are spaced at 30×10 cm for canopy management, allowing airflow and uniform sun exposure across every row.

The Harvest03

Dawn picking locks in the chlorophyll

Leaves are harvested between 5:30 and 8:00 AM before the sun drives moisture and volatile compounds from the canopy. Each basket moves to shade within 20 minutes of cutting. The window between field and drying tunnel is under four hours — every time.

38–42°C

Drying temp

Dehydration Tunnels

Leaves enter low-temperature forced-air tunnels at 38–42°C — hot enough to eliminate pathogens, cool enough to preserve glucosinolates and chlorophyll. Target moisture: below 5%. Duration: 4–6 hours per batch.

02

100–200 mesh

Particle size

Hammer-Mill Grinding

Dried leaf is milled to 100–200 mesh fineness in a stainless-steel hammer mill under positive-pressure air filtration. The milling room maintains <40% RH to prevent moisture re-absorption.

03

>85%

Tocopherol retention

Cold-Press Oil Extraction

Moringa seeds are cold-pressed at below 45°C using a hydraulic expeller. No solvents, no refining. The resulting oil retains >85% of natural tocopherols and behenic acid profile demanded by cosmetics formulators.

Batch Traceability System

Your auditors will
find everything they need.

We built our traceability system before a buyer ever asked for it. Every kilogram leaving the farm can be traced to a specific harvest block, a specific date, and a specific drying run.

  • Unique batch number from seed lot to final packaging
  • GPS-tagged harvest block records
  • Time-stamped drying and milling logs
  • Third-party COA linked per batch number
  • FSMA-compliant traceability records available on request
